Omaha Police Department looking for community input in a survey

The Omaha Police Department wants to hear from the community about how they're doing.

In a Tuesday post on the Omaha Police Department's website, OPD invited Omaha residents to complete a survey regarding their satisfaction in the services offered by the department. This survey is part of the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. accreditation process.

The post states, "The Omaha Police Department complies with approximately 382 standards in order to maintain accreditation. Through the accreditation process the Department is able to ensure the professionalism and efficiency of its operations in the most comprehensive format available. CALEA certification demonstrates to the community that the OPD is committed to professional, efficient, and effective policing."

You can find the survey in English and Spanish here.
