In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 free masks will be given away this weekend in Omaha.
Omaha Police and Fire will join the First Responders Foundation and CHI Health to hand out masks from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Homestyle Cafe at 88th and Maple streets.
OneWorld Community Health Center and the Douglas County Health Center will also be giving away masks from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at OneWorld just south of 30th and L.
On Sunday the Douglas County Health Department will be giving away face masks from 2-4 p.m. at the Mexican Consulate near 74th and Dodge streets.
