Teachers in the Papillion-La Vista School District are speaking out against the district's reopening plans.
Nearly 60 teachers demonstrated outside Monday's school board meeting and called for schools to open with limited capacity to allow for social distancing.
District officials also heard from educators and parents who called for the board to approve full-remote learning or to allow schools to open at 50-percent capacity until COVID-19 is under control.
The district started classes on Tuesday with schools at 100-percent capacity.
