Accident Investigators say one person suffers serious injuries in a crash Monday evening in the Benson area.
Omaha Police say a Honda Accord from Maple St. to northbound 58th St. went through a "turn right only" sign and was hit by a Buick Rainier, which was westbound on the North West Radial Highway.
A passenger in the Honda, 27 - year old Raul Herrara of Omaha, is hospitalized with serious chest injuries, including fractured ribs, a collapsed lung and a broken clavicle.
Three people in the Buick were checked out for less serious injuries.
Police say the driver of the Honda, 33-year old Anita Coin of Omaha, has been ticketed for violation of a traffic control device. She was not injured.
