The timetable for the city of Omaha to start working with a new trash contractor has been advanced.
The City Council approved the contract with "FCC" in August, 2019, which replaces the 20-year agreement Omaha has had with "Waste Management."
"FCC" will provide households with two carts: one for solid and yard waste, the other for bi-weekly recycling.
The new Omaha contractor will start delivering 300,000 carts to residential customers in August so that they are ready for a November 30th start date.
