Omaha Teen Facing Charges In Deadly Crash

An Omaha teenager involved in a deadly crash earlier this week went from the hospital to jail Thursday morning.

Police say 18 year old Jayden Johnson was driving at a high rate of speed when he ran a stop sign at 42nd and Curtis and slammed into another vehicle.

The crashed killed the other driver, 33 year old Brittni McBride. Johnson suffered hand and leg injuries in the crash.

After being released from the hospital Thursday morning, investigators say Johnson was taken to Douglas County Corrections and booked for felony motor vehicle homicide.
