South Omaha Car-Pedestrian Accident Leaves One Person Hospitalized

An Omaha man is in the hospital with life threatening injuries after being hit by a car in South Omaha late Monday night.

Police say 59-year old Carl Tolles was attempting to cross "F" St. south to north at 28th St. when he was hit by a westbound car.

Investigators say he was not in a marked crosswalk.

Police say speed and alcohol are not factors in the mishap.

They do say the car's driver is cited for No License and Improper Child Restraint.
