Man previously arrested for child enticement behind bars again

Omaha Police say a man who was out on bond for child enticement, is back in jail on the same charges.

OPD says around 2:15 Monday afternoon, officers responded to a radio call of child enticement near 156th and Pacific. The victim told officers they were coaxed by a man driving a black vehicle to approach the vehicle, where the suspect then exposed his genitals. The child reported that he immediately ran to his home and his father was able to locate a suspect vehicle, which then sped out of the neighborhood.

Detectives with OPD's Child Victim / Sexual Assault Unit were notified of the incident. Investigators knew of other incidents involving 28 year old Adam Hawhee with similar MOs and knew that Hawhee was out of jail on bond after being booked on two counts of enticement for incidents in March. Police say officers were also aware that Hawhee was in possession of a vehicle matching the description given by the victim.

Detectives were able to positively identify Hawhee as the suspect and locate his current address at 17006 Hawthorne Ct. Hawhee was located and arrested for child enticement, lewd conduct, debauching a minor, and bond review. CVSA detectives continue to investigate Hawhee's activities and additional charges are possible.
