Omaha Fire Investigators blame careless smoking for a house fire early Monday morning.
When firefighters pulled up to the single family, wood - framed home near 78th and Curtis Avenues around 2:30 a.m., they found smoke and flames at the back of the house, and the occupants attempting to put out a fire on a back deck.
Firefighters extinguished the fire in about 10 minutes. No injuries reported;
