An Omaha home is a total loss after a fire early Wednesday morning.
When the rigs pulled up, firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the house near 30th and Fowler Ave. just before 3 a.m.
Crews initially attacked the fire in a defensive mode, and once safe entry was made, they switched to a more aggressive mode.
Firefighters brought it under control in about 20 minutes.
There are no reports of any injuries, and investigators look for the cause of the fire.
