A Nebraska school superintendent is facing child abuse and third-degree sexual assault charges.
The Seward County Sheriff's Office says the charges against 56-year-old Timothy Dewaard of Utica involve a high school aged student.
Dewaard serves as superintendent of Centennial Public School. He was released on bond Tueday.
According to the Seward County Sheriff's Office the on-going investigation is being conducted by their office with assistance from the York County Sheriff’s Office.
