Your idea of a pet might be different than this soldier's, but he still loved his pet and it was taken away.
I know it's a wild animal. I know it's "completely tame" and "wouldn't hurt a fly". Sound familiar? Until it does. That's when you don't want a very destructive animal with kill instincts and an extreme bite power to be attacking you.
