A Maryland man is behind bars in Nebraska following a Sunday night I-80 traffic stop and drug bust.
The Nebraska State Patrol says around 6:00 MT, a trooper spotted a Hyundai Genesis speeding near Sidney. NSP says after pulling the vehicle over, the trooper became suspicious of criminal activity.
During a search of the vehicle, the trooper found 42 pounds of marijuana in trash bags in the trunk.
The driver, 29 year old Ryan Chun, of Bladensburg, Maryland, was arrested for possession of marijuana – more than one pound. He is being held at Cheyenne County Corrections.
