Early voting ballot applications for the November General Election are about to start showing up in Douglas County voters' mailboxes.
The Douglas County Election Commission says early ballot request forms will be sent in late July to all Douglas County voters who are registered to vote at their current address.
The commission says voters will be sent the application due to COVID-19 concerns.
The postcard-size mail pieces will be printed on green cardstock. Voters must complete and sign the application portion of the mailing and return it to our office to receive a ballot by mail.
The deadline to submit a request for an early voting ballot to be mailed is Friday, October 23, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. The first day ballots will be mailed is Monday, September 28, 2020.
