Rally For Law Enforcement To Be Held In Omaha Saturday

Metro area residents will have a chance to show their support for law enforcement during a "Back the Blue" rally Saturday morning in Omaha's Memorial Park.

It will begin at 9:30 a.m. and last an hour. Organizer Bill Williams tells NewsRadio 1110 KFAB former Omaha mayor and 2nd District Congressman Hal Daub will be the emcee.

Speakers will include Pastor James Patterson of Trinity Hope Foursquare Church, Captain Wayne Hudson of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and recently retired Omaha North High School Principal Gene Haynes.

Williams encourages those coming to the park to bring lawn chairs and flags. The rally will end with the crowd singing "God Bless America."
