Durham Museum prepares to reopen with COVID-19 precautions

Preparations are underway at The Durham Museum to welcome back guests after being closed for nearly four months due to COVID-19.

The museum is planning to reopen July 18th for members and August 1st for the general public. Visitors will need to reserve their tickets online and bring a face mask.

Plexiglass has been added to the front desk and the soda shop. Chairs and tables have also been spread out to allow for proper social distancing. Touch screens have been unplugged, and the toys in the children’s area have been put away.
