Omaha Police are looking for any information regarding a hit-and-run that happened around 6 a.m. Sunday near 96th and L Streets.
Accident investigators say a passerby found a male on the westbound shoulder.
That person was later pronounced dead.
His name has not been released.
Vehicle debris at the scene and roadway evidence have led police to believe the deceased was hit by a westbound vehicle that left the scene.
