OMAHA, Nebraska -- Parents will screen their childrens' temperatures every day before sending them to school as part of the back-to-school plan for Westside Community Schools.
The third-largest school district in Omaha, Westside will evaluate COVID-19 risk, and will adjust its status frequently.
Face masks will be recommended, but not mandatory, unless there are situations where social distancing is not possible.
Westside Community School District, also known as District 66 has more than 6,000 students and 1,000 teachers and staff.
