An Omaha man dies after being hit by two vehicles while trying to cross a portion of the Interstate northwest of downtown Omaha late Thursday night.
Police accident investigators say 29-year old Andrew Woodard was killed after being hit while attempting to cross the northbound U.S. 75/North Freeway east to west just south of the Cuming St. exit ramp around 10:30 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witness statements to police suggest a third vehicle was involved and left the scene.
