Omaha Police continue to investigate after a dead body was recovered from Omaha's Regency Lake Wednesday morning.
They identified the man as 21 year old Hunter Hawthorne of Bennington, and foul play is not believed to be a factor in Hawthorne's death.
At the same time, OPD detectives continue to work an early Tuesday home invasion and assault of a 77- year old woman at the nearby Regency Lake Apartments.
The victim is in an Intensive Care unit in stable condition with severe injuries.
