Former Air Force Staff Sergeant Sentenced for Child Pornography

A former Air Force Staff Sergeant will spend the next few years in federal prison on child pornography charges.

The Nebraska U.S. Attorney's Office says 31 year old Willis Brown was sentenced to 54 months in prison on Thursday for possessing child pornography. After his release from prison, Brown will spend seven years on supervised release and will be required to register as a sex offender.

According to a media release, the Nebraska State Patrol was conducting an undercover investigation into individuals receiving child pornography through the internet. "A computer at Brown’s residence was identified as sharing images of child pornography. Two of the files involved seven to nine year old girls engaging in sexually explicit conduct."

A search warrant was executed in October 2018 and upon forensic examination of Brown’s devices, investigators found five images of child pornography. Search terms indicating earlier searches of child pornography were also found.
