A new drive-thru COVID-19 testing site is now fully up and running in South Omaha.
The site is a partnership between the Douglas County Health Department, OneWorld Health Center, Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
The site is located in the parking lots of a former grocery store at 50th and G Streets. The South Omaha Drive-thru Clinic will operate seven days a week with testing available from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. until noon on Saturdays and Sundays.
There is no charge for the testing and although advanced registration is preferred, it is not required. The Douglas county Health Department says assistance will be provided on-site to make sure no one is turned away. T
