"Junkstock" Returns With Covid-19 Precautions In Place

With extra precautions in place because of Covid-19, "Junkstock: Underneath the Stars" will be back at "Sycamore Farms" in Waterloo, Ne. this weekend with extended hours to help spread out the crowds.

The arts and crafts show will feature hot air balloons, bonfires, and vintage vendors and makers from across the country.

22 food trucks plus eight bands are part of the event.

“There are always a lot of moving pieces when it comes to planning an event like Junkstock, and COVID-19 has added another layer to that with new precautions to keep our customers safe,” said Sara Alexander, "Junkstock" founder.

“As we thoughtfully created our COVID-19 safety plan for the health department, we took into consideration the best practices of other events in the area as well as the county and state recommendations."

"Junkstock" runs Friday, June 19th from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 20th from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m; and Sunday, June 21st from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m;

"Sycamore Farms" is at 1150 River Road Dr. in Waterloo, just North of West Dodge Rd. near 228th St.

There will be no shuttle service for this event.
