Omaha Police Investigate A Traffic Crash That Involved A Shooting Victim

Omaha Police say a person inside one of two cars involved in a crash late Tuesday night at 52nd and Ames Ave. had suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The 15-year old female told officers she was shot by someone in a vehicle that was following them before the crash.

The teen was with three other people in a Pontiac Grand Prix that collided with a Chevy Malibu.

The four in the Pontiac and one from the Malibu were taken to the hospital.

A 22-year-old female passenger in the Pontiac suffered critical injuries in the accident.
