Nebraska livestock producers impacted by the coronavirus pandemic can apply for relief tomorrow.

Governor Ricketts announced Friday, small-business owners and livestock producers could apply for grants created by the state's first round of federal CARES Act funds and state aid to help them recover.

Three-hundred-eighty-seven million dollars will go toward the grants, retaining workers, and expanding internet access in rural areas.

Small businesses must have between five and 49 employees to qualify for a grant.

Applications will be accepted until June 26th, and the money is expected to be distributed by August 1st.
