University of Iowa football strength and conditioning coach Chris Doyle denies making racial comments to black athletes.
Doyle was placed on administrative leave on Saturday after multiple athletes made claims against him.
He released a statement on Twitter, saying he was saddened to hear about difficult experiences in the Iowa program, but rejected claims he made racist comments.
He also expressed confidence in his body of work and said countless men had benefited from their experiences in the Iowa program.
