Mayor Stothert Lifts Emergency Orders, Curfew

Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert tells KFAB Radio News that she has lifted the emergency orders that had been in place since Sunday following two nights of violent protests.

That means the 8:00 p.m. curfew is no longer in effect and there is no longer any restrictions on the size of gatherings due to the disturbances that happened last weekend.

She says the State of Emergency remains in effect, and a new curfew can be put in place if needed.
