The Lincoln Police say they are investigating after spray painted swastikas were reported to them.
Police say just after 9:00 Thursday night, they were notified that a runner observed swastika’s spray painted on the bike trail in the area of 17th and Holdrege. Investigators believe that the swastikas were painted within the last week.
LPD says there were also about 20 trees spray painted with numerous images, some of those being swastikas, at Epworth Park near 1st and South Streets.
