A ninth COVID-19 related death has been reported at the Life Care Center of Elkhorn.
Facility officials announced Tuesday that 79 residents at the nursing home have been tested for the coronavirus, and most of them are sick. Seven residents are being treated at hospitals for COVID-19.
Seven more employees of the center have returned to work after testing positive for COVID-19, according to a statement from the nursing home.
According to the statement 12 of 30 staff who previously tested positive are back to work at the center.
