An Elkhorn nursing home is reporting more COVID-19 coronavirus deaths on Wednesday.
On Monday, the Life Care Center of Elkhorn confirmed to 6 News that they had two residents die from coronavirus. On Wednesday, the facility reported three more deaths, bringing the COVID-19 death toll at the center up to five.
According to Wednesday's media release, since Monday three additional residents who have been tested, one of whom tested positive for COVID-19. The center says three more residents have been hospitalized, bringing the total number of residents hospitalized up to 10.
Two-thirds of residents at the facility have tested positive for coronavirus, while 26 of the centers 140 staff have tested positive. The Life Care Center says all residents have now been tested for COVID-19.
