Fourth Inmate at Omaha Correctional Facility Tests Positive for COVID-19

Another inmate at the Community Corrections Center-Omaha (CCC-O) has tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.

On Monday, Director Scott Frakes announced that the inmate tested positive. That individual was identified as a close contact of another inmate who tested positive for the virus, and has been under quarantine.

This is the fourth inmate to test positive in the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services. All four men were from CCC-O. Contact tracing will be conducted to identify other individuals who had close contact with the person who recently tested positive.
