The City of Omaha Public Works Department announced that recycling collection for Thursday, May 14th, will be suspended due to impacts related to COVID-19.
The department is asking that all recyclable materials be held until the next scheduled collection date, May 21.
This suspension is for recycling only. Residents in the Friday service area will not be impacted and their recyclables will be collected.
