Omaha Police Look For Information In Two Sunday Night Shootings

Omaha Police continue to investigate two, drive-by shootings from Sunday night.

One happened just before midnight near 46th Street and Ames Avenue.

Investigators say 33-year old Richard Kercheval is hospitalized with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police say Kercheval was driving in the area when someone fired a gun, striking Kercheval and his vehicle.

The other incident was earlier in the evening near 39th and Laurel Ave.

27-year-old Joshua Townsell told officers he became involved in a disturbance with a another driver who fired a gun, striking Townsell and damaging his vehicle. Medics treated him at the scene.
