Lincoln Police ask for public's thoughts on letting officers show tattoos

The Lincoln Police Department is asking for the public's thoughts on allowing their officers to show off their visible tattoos.

The department says for many years, they've required officers to cover-up visible tattoos while on duty, but that a change could be coming. LPD says over the next six weeks, they'll be allowing officers to display their tattoos while on duty as a to see how the public reacts.
