Omaha Police Asking for Help in Locating Fugitive

The Omaha Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man they say is a dangerous fugitive.

The OPD says in 2005, 37 year old Clinton Barfield was convicted of Second Degree Murder and sentenced to prison. Barfield was released from prison and placed on parole in February, but recently cut off his electronic monitor. Police say his whereabouts are currently unknown.

Police say Barfield has a history of gun use and should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 280 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at (402) 444-STOP, at www.omahacrimestoppers.org or on the P3 Tips mobile app.
