Nebraska Senators Appointed To Trump Task Force

Nebraska Senators Deb Fischer and Ben Sasse were asked by President Trump to serve as members of his task force on reopening the economy.

Sen. Fischer released a statement Thursday saying she is proud to be part of the President's bipartisan task force.

"We had a productive conversation during our first call today. COVID-19 has hurt Nebraska families, businesses, and our state’s economy. Working together, we can develop safe first steps to begin getting people back to work."

Iowa Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst were also asked to be part of the task force to reopen the economy.
