A woman and a teenager are in the hospital after their home caught fire last night.
Investigators say heavy smoke was coming from the front door area when firefighters arrived at the house near 44th and Pratt around 5:00
The woman was outside the house. Firefighters went in and rescued the boy from a room on the second floor. Both went to the hospital in serious condition with smoke inhalation.
Damage is estimated at $35,000 and the cause is still under investigation.
