The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office has arrested a metro man on charges of first-degree sexual assault.
Thursday morning, the SCSO arrested 42 year old Hector Guardado-Alfaro in Omaha. Investigators say Guardado-Alfaro was arrested after several woman came forward saying that he had sexually assaulted them.
The Sheriff's Office says they believe that while Guardado-Alfaro was working as a maintenance man of a Sarpy County apartment complex, he used his position to assault at least four women. The victims were both co-workers and residents of the apartment complex.
Guardado-Alfaro is facing charges in three of those four cases and action on the fourth is pending.
The SCSO ask any additional victims who would like to come forward, but have not yet done so out of fear, to call the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office telephone reporting unit at 402-593-1593. Investigators say if there are victims outside of Sarpy County, they are also encouraged to call the same number and the information will be routed to the correct investigative agency.
