OMAHA, Nebraska - The Omaha Police Department has been made aware that an officer has tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus. The officer had traveled out of state on vacation. When the officer returned home, he/she self-quarantined and did not return to work.
The Department will not release the officer's name or provide additional information at this time.
