First Nursing Home Cases Of COVID-19 Coronavirus In Blair

BLAIR, Nebraska - The Three Rivers Public Health Department announced there are five cases of COVID-19 coronavirus in Washington County.

Director Terra Uhing says two cases are at Carter Place Assisted Living Center. The Center is now on lockdown. Residents are eating in their rooms. Family members can visit through windows and all activities have been canceled.

Officials believe that a health care worker that entered Carter Place had the virus and acquired it outside of Washington County. Two people tested positive and another person is showing symptoms. Another health care worker at Carter Place is also showing symptoms. One resident

There are two confirmed cases of community spread COVID-19 coronavirus in Saunders County. Dodge County reported its first case on Wednesday.
