DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nebraska - The Douglas County Health Department is closing its Vital Statistics office to walk-in customers.This is due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak and to protect the public.
The office will continue to serve the community by creating new birth and death certificates.Certified copies will continue to be available by mail.
