Shooting Victim Dies, Suspect Charged With Murder

OMAHA, Nebraska - Omaha Police are now investigating a murder after a shooting victim died.

23 year old Jermaine Finley is accused of murder, two counts of use of a weapon and conspiracy to discharge a firearm.

Omaha Police say the shooting happened Monday at 49th and Miami around 6:40 p.m. Officers responding found an injured man who was taken to a hospital. On Friday, police say the victim died.

Police say Finley was seen driving a car that was speeding away from the shooting. He is being held on a $5 million bond.

Three others are behind bars in connection to the shooting death.

21 year old Dejion Smith, 19 year old Trevian Harris and 24 year old Jordon Miller were all booked for conspiracy to discharge a firearm.
