Mutual Of Omaha Headquarters Closed After Positive Coronavirus Test

Mutual of Omaha employees were told this morning that the home office headquarters on Dodge and Farnam Streets has been closed until further notice after an employee tested positive for coronavirus.

In a memo to employees the company said the action is being taken out of an abundance of caution.

The memo says Mutual of Omaha has been in touch with the Douglas County Health Department and all employees who came into close contact with the affected person have been told to self-isolate pending further instruction.

The memo indicated that while the affected individual works in a somewhat isolated area, the company plans to deep clean the entire facility as a precautionary measure to protect the health and safety of their associates.

Employees who have the ability to work remotely from home will be contacted by managers.
