OMAHA, Nebraska - UNMC/Nebraska Medicine says the person admitted into the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit Thursday night is in fair condition. Also in biocontainment, a 36 year old Omaha woman who is in critical condition. A 16 year old boy from Crofton is in serious condition. Another person who suffered a fall was moved to biocontainment as a precaution.
Several who are in quarantine that were on the Diamond Princess cruise shop could go home in the next few days depending on test results and screening.
Cases in the U.S. have reached nearly 1,300, with nearly 35 deaths. Worldwide, cases have reached nearly 140,000 in 160 countries, with nearly 5,100 deaths.
