OMAHA, Nebraska - Central Connecticut State University was scheduled to take on Creighton University in a three game baseball series starting March 13th.
6 News reports CCSU Athletics website shows the series in Omaha has been canceled due to coronavirus concerns.
"The changes are being made in accordance with the recent directive from the CSCU system office regarding out-of-state travel and on-campus gatherings of 100 or more people," the university said. They are holding a few home events but fans will not be allowed to attend.
Creighton University is looking for an opponent to replace the Blue Devils. Those with tickets can exchange them for another home game. That can be done at the Ryan Athletic Center ticket office, TD Ameritrade Park or online by clicking here.
