One Under Quarantine UNMC/Nebraska Medicine Could Be Cleared To Leave

OMAHA, Nebraska - UNMC/Nebraska Medicine report that one of the passengers on the Diamond Princess Cruise ship being monitored for coronavirus could be cleared to leave Monday. That is pending test results.

Seven other individuals from that ship continue to be monitored in National Quarantine Unit. Two individuals are being treated in the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit. One person is in critical condition and the other is reported to be in good condition.

The CDC continues to recommend that residents wash hands for at least 20 seconds, avoid large crowds and to make family and business plans.

In the U.S., cases have reached about 570 with 22 deaths.
