Arson Arrest Made In Monday Morning Apartment Complex Fire

OMAHA, Nebraska - An arrest has been made in Monday morning's two alarm fire at the Kensington Woods Apartment Complex near 108th and Blondo.34 year old Clinton Gathye was booked for 1st degree arson.Gathye was rescued by firefighters from a 3rd floor balcony and then taken to a hospital in serious condition to be checked out.Clinton was then booked into Douglas County Corrections for 1st degree arson.

Fire Crews were called to the apartment building around 8 a.m..A second alarm was called a short time later.Smoke and flames could be seen coming from a third floor apartment.

The fire was contained to the third floor but first and second floor units have smoke and water damage.Fire officials say six adults were displaced and about fifteen units have damage.
