OMAHA, Nebraska - The Omaha Police Department made a sad announcement on Facebook today at Officer Duk lost his battle with an incurable illness.
K9 Duk was assigned to the bomb unit and often worked at the airport and other security detail at the CWS, the Olympic swim trials and a number of other events. The post states that Duk also helped at several Omaha Police Department community and educational events. Duk served the department for four years.
"He will be missed."
