Damage is estimated at $50,000 after an early morning fire at the Golden Corral on North 27th Street in Lincoln.
Smoke and flames were coming from the restaurant when firefighters arrived at around 5:00 a.m.
Investigators say the fire started in a buffet warming unit. The sprinkler system kept the fire contained to that area and firefighters were able to put it out in about ten minutes.
The health department has been called in and the business will be closed until further notice.
