UPDATE: Names Released In Deadly Sarpy County Crash

SARPY COUNTY, Nebraska UPDATE: Sarpy County Sheriff's Office released the names of those involved in a deadly accident on I-80 near Highway 370 around 8 p.m. Sunday.

One vehicle rear-ended another.

67 year old Nabil Shokai of Lincoln was the driver of a 2001 Saturn and taken to Bergan Mercy Hospital but later died. His passenger, 86 year old Kalul Bor of Lincoln was airlifted to Nebraska Medicine in critical condition. He is currently in ICU.

There were four people in the second vehicle, a 2013 Hyundai. That driver was hurt and three passengers have minor injuries.

Investigators say the Hyundai struck rear-ended the Saturn. There is no word yet if charges will be filed against the driver of the Hyundai, 25 year old Kenisha Prentice. All of her passengers were in their 20's.

One person was killed and another critically injured in a two vehicle crash Sunday night on I-80 just west of the Hwy 370 westbound entrance ramp.

Sarpy County investigators say the preliminary investigation shows one car slammed into the back of the other car around 8:00. The driver of the vehicle that was struck died at Bergan Mercy Hospital.

A passenger was flown by LifeNet helicopter to Nebraska Medicine with critical injuries. Investigators say four women in the the other vehicle were all transported by Gretna Rescue Squad to Bergan Mercy Hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Sarpy County CRASH Team. No names have been released pending notification of relatives.
